Our Approach

Initial Consultation:
Prior to beginning a search, a recruiter from 1st Fruits Consulting, Inc. will contact you to develop an understanding of your company’s culture and organizational structure.  Using our B3 Process, we will partner with you to benchmark the characteristics of your ideal candidate as well as the requirements and specifications for the position.  This allows us to generate a profile in order to screen the right individual to meet your needs.

Candidate Identification:
1st Fruits Consulting, Inc. will take this prepared information to begin the search process.  We start by identifying and customizing sources, organizations, personal networks, databases of individuals and other prospects where highly qualified candidates may be identified.  Through our searching, we compile a list of potential candidates for your position.

Contacting Potential Candidates:
At this point in the process, the recruiter will contact the prospective candidate.  Our goal is to quickly develop a rapport with the individual then determine if the candidate is qualified and then sell them on the opportunity. 

Candidate Screening:
Once qualified candidates are identified, the recruiter will submit the resume and qualifications to the client for review.  A candidate in whom the client is interested is subjected to another telephone interview for more in depth questioning using one of the B3 tools, the Critical Behavior Indicator (CBI).  This interview will help measure if the candidate is an excellent cultural fit with your organization.

Presentation of Candidates:
Once the CBI is completed, you will receive a written report summarizing the results.  The report will detail how the candidate measures against the profile developed in the initial consultation and how well they align with your organization.

Candidate Interviews:
1st Fruits will arrange the interviews between you and the candidate.  The recruiter will also follow up with you and the candidate immediately after the interview to ensure timely feedback.

The Offer:
1st Fruits plays a vital role after the extension of an offer.  The recruiter will uncover any hesitations to the offer, such as, compensation, benefits, relocation, or counter-offers.  We can help make this process go smoothly by communicating these concerns to you and help bring both parties together.

Retention:
Once the candidate has started in their new role, 1st Fruits will remain in contact with you and the candidate to ensure satisfaction of both parties.  If concerns arise, the recruiter will help in resolving the issue.
